Method Tools Ltd (MTL) was founded as a family run company in 1974 to supply high quality tooling to the woodworking industry. Over the years MTL has established itself as one of the leading UK wholesalers of sawblades, router cutters, machine knives and tooling for wood, plastic and aluminium based in Cheshire, UK.
As a result of the knowledge and experience gained over the past four decades, together with a commitment to quality and competitive pricing we have become the preferred supplier for many hire groups, tool retailers, saw doctors and machinery dealers throughout the UK.
Product Range
Founded on supplying TCT circular sawblades, our product range has expanded over the years to include a Tradesman range of sawblades, including saw blades for every known hire machine, and our Premium range of industrial saw blades. We also stock over 700 router cutters and more recently have incorporated a comprehensive range of machine knives. Our machine knife range includes planer blades, serrated back knives, disposable carbide knives, and knives for the Tersa, Leitz, Weinig, Barke, Terminus and Versofix systems. Finally the MTL tooling range includes universal cutter blocks, profile knives and limitors, SP and HSS knife and limitor blanks, flat bits, auger bits and mortice chisel and bits.
